WeirdCo has partnered with Galactic Events Studio for Cyberpunk TCG organized play.
Galactic Events Studio is the combined company formed by Keyrune, Inc. (owners of Melee.gg) and Best Coast Pairings (see “Keyrune, Inc. Merges with Best Coast Pairings“). WeirdCo will offer its OP events through the Melee.gg platform to stores; Galactic will support Cyberpunk TCG’s OP event registration, tournament management, and the resulting workflows and reporting. Cyberpunk TCG broke Kickstarter tabletop records by raising over $28 million earlier this year (see “‘Cyberpunk TCG’ Smashes Tabletop Kickstarter Funding Record“).
“Cyberpunk TCG is entering the market with massive community-led momentum, and that creates both opportunity and responsibility,” said Scott Elliott, CEO of Galactic Events Studio. “When a game launches with more than 50,000 eager supporters, organized play cannot be an afterthought. It needs dependable infrastructure, responsive tools, and the ability to grow with the community.”
Galactic Events Studio supports over 8,100 stores across the world, and is localized in 10 languages, making it an ideal platform for games with a worldwide audience, like Cyberpunk TCG.
