New Monsters Join the Game from ‘Smile,’ ‘Sleepy Hollow,’ and More; New Card Images Revealed
Spin Master has expanded their licensing deal with Paramount Pictures to add more monsters from their horror movies to Hellbreak TCG.
Spin Master has been very busy signing up studio collaborators for Hellbreak TCG since it was first announced in February 2026 (see “‘Hellbreak’“). The first round of monsters featured in Hellbreak TCG will come from the Universal Monsterverse (see “‘Hellbreak TCG’ Revealed“), the second wave of studio collaborators included AMC Global Media, Blumhouse and Lionsgate (see “Collaborators for ‘Hellbreak TCG’“). At Gen Con, they announced that they had licensed Friday the 13th from Paramount (see “Gen Con 2026 News“), and now they have expanded their deal with the company to include A Quiet Place, Sleepy Hollow and Smile.
“We’ve set out to create an unprecedented lineup of horror IP for Hellbreak to deliver a trading card game experience like no other,” said Doug Wadleigh, Spin Master’s President, Toys. “Adding Paramount Pictures’ deep catalogue of terrifying monsters will elevate the gameplay experience and we’re eager to see how players use these iconic characters when building their decks.”
The first HellbreakTCG set will head to retail in January 2027. Spin Master is also offering up Hellbreak TCG Pre-Launch Kits to retailers to host demo nights (see “‘Hellbreak TCG’ Pre-Launch Kits“). Spin Master also revealed new card images for the game.
