Ghost Galaxy, under a licensing agreement with Universal, announced a new edition of Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game.
The first edition of this game was released back in 2008 by Fantasy Flight Games (see “BSG: TBG Promo in DVD“), and was designed by Corey Koniecka. It was a hit game that spawned three expansions (see “Pegasus Expansion,” ” “Exodus Expansion” and also, “Daybreak Expansion“). The new game will be an updated version of the original game.
“I had the pleasure to oversee the publication of this phenomenal board game during its first lease on life”, said Christian T. Petersen CEO of Ghost Galaxy. “We’re having a lot of fun returning to the great characters and story of Battlestar Galactica, and we’re working hard to ensure that our new edition will make a great game design even better!”
It will head to crowdfunding in 2027.
