Catalyst Game Labs will release Frostpunk RPG: Core Rulebook, a new roleplaying game rulebook, into retail on June 24, 2026.
This RPG is based on the post-apocalyptic video game series by 11bit Studios (see “‘Frost Punk: The Board Game’ Barrels Toward Retail“). In the RPG, players take on the roles of survivors in the frozen world that manage the last city on Earth as resources become scarce. The RPG features an immersive character creation system that offers players lots of skills to choose from to define their character. The Dice Core engine adds an element of unpredictability to in-game decision-making, and rewards players for careful choice based on tactical thinking. Players will also need to manage the social tensions created by Hope and Discontent city mechanics.
The book will retail for $49.99.
