With Wizards of the Coast announcing a new horror campaign for summer, Dark Horse Comics is following up with a Ravenloft-themed miniseries. Dungeons & Dragons: Ravenloft, by writer Amy Chu, artist Ariela Kristantina, and colorist Arif Prianto, is a four-issue miniseries set in a decaying Ravenloft and featuring Ez D’Avenir, who is searching for an undead in hopes of saving the world of Ravenloft, and Darklord Viktra Mordenheim, who is trying to stop her. The first issue will be released on August 19, 2026, with covers by Guillem March, Riley Rossmo, Francesco Francavilla, Todor Hristov, and Angela Wu.
WotC recently announced a Season of Horror this summer that will center on the new sourcebook Ravenloft: The Horrors Within (see “Wizards of the Coast Unveils ‘D&D’ Roadmap”).
