Games Workshop will place Eye of Terror: Reign of Iron, a new narrative expansion for Warhammer 40,000, onto preorder on April 4, 2026.
The new set of expansion books features the Iron Warriors, who have launched an assault on the Cadian Gate. This expansion comes with three books: Reign of Iron, Reign of Iron: Apocalypse, and Reign of Iron Detachments. Reign of Iron and Reign of Iron: Apocalypse are loaded down with background lore as well as new rules for waging war in the Cadian landscape. The Reign of Iron Detachments book offers up stats on new Detachments for Chaos Space Marines, Space Marines, Imperial Knights, Adeptus Mechanicus, and Chaos Knights. This set is also available in a collector’s edition with silver foil page edges.
