Looney Labs to Reprint 'Star Trek Fluxx' Games

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the birth of Star Trek, Looney Labs is offering a limited reprint run of its four Fluxx games inspired by the iconic science fiction series: Star Trek Fluxx, Star Trek: The Next Generation Fluxx, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Fluxx, and Star Trek: Voyager Fluxx.  The reprints will be available in October.

Star Trek was added to the Fluxx line in 2018 with the first two titles, based on The Original Series and The Next Generation, along with a small expansion to bridge them together (see “‘Star Trek Fluxx’ Gets Foil Expansion that Breaks the Timeline”).  Versions based on Deep Space Nine (see “Fluxx Sets Course for ‘Deep Space Nine’“) and Voyager followed, along with expansions that explored the Enterprise era (see “‘Star Trek Fluxx’ Expansions“).  All of the Star Trek Fluxx games expand on the core elements of Fluxx with thematic cards and feature new mechanics through Action and Rule cards unique to each set.

The four games have been unavailable but still attract interest from fans, leading to the company’s decision to offer a limited reprint.  Looney Labs has also hinted about plans for a potential fifth Star Trek Fluxx title but has not shared any details.  All four games are designed to be played separately and support one to six players, with an MSRP of $25.00 each.  Intended for ages eight and up, they typically take less than half an hour to play.

All four games are also available in a six-count countertop display box.

Looney Labs recently released a canine-themed version of Fluxx (see “Looney Labs Announces ‘Dog Fluxx’”).  This summer, the company will offer the island-hopping race game Seven Islands (see “Looney Labs Explores ‘Seven Islands’”).
