The Collect-A-Con conventions have been acquired by event firm MARI, the companies announced. Collect-A-Cons, planned for 24 cities in 2026, feature TCG and other trading cards, anime, and pop culture, averaging 25,000 attendees per event, and with over 1000 vendors participating. Other show attractions include celebrity guests, anime voice actors, concerts by major performing artists, and exclusive drops. Cities on the Collect-A-Con circuit for 2026 include Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
MARI, founded by TKO Group and Endeavor executives Ari Emanuel and Mark Shapiro, has accumulated an eclectic mix of event businesses, including art shows, sporting events, and collectible car auctions. This is the company’s first acquisition in a geek culture space.
Collect-A-Con will continue to operate under its current brand and with management in place.
