That’s right, egg nog fans. The holidays are here and it is time once again for ICv2 to release its picks for the best inexpensive game gifts to stuff in those freshly-laundered holiday stockings. Last year, the cost of producing and importing products had been on the rise, so the stuffer picks were a little more pricey (see “Stuffers“). This was part of an inflation trend that had been going on for a few years, starting at the end of the pandemic.
In 2026, it seems like some publishers made the appropriate production and logistics adjustments to bring down prices of their games a little. This year, the maximum price of gifts picked for this article is $25. Gifts at this price point will be helpful for successful holiday sales this year, as the average American consumer is still a little cash-strapped thanks to increased fuel prices. This year’s selection of stocking stuffers features the usual array of fun toy adjacent gifts, but also includes a few darker gifts to appeal to consumers who are feeling a little less jolly around the holidays (or just have a more obscure sense humor).
