Renegade Game Studios Announces a Refreshed Standard and Premium Edition of the Classic ‘D&D’ Game
Renegade Game Studios, in partnership with Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro, announced the return of Dungeons & Dragons: Castle Ravenloft Board Game, a cooperative dungeon-crawling adventure.
The first edition of this game was originally released in 2010 (see “Cooperative ‘Ravenloft’ Boardgame“). In this game, players assumed the roles of adventurers making their way through the halls of Castle Ravenloft in an effort to make it to a showdown with Lord Strahd. The new edition will come as a Standard Edition, with updated visuals, and a Premium Edition with pre-painted miniatures included.
“Castle Ravenloft helped define cooperative fantasy board gaming for an entire generation of players,” said Scott Gaeta, President of Renegade Game Studios. “We’re excited to bring this classic back to tables everywhere, while introducing a beautiful Premium Edition with pre-painted miniatures that makes the experience even more immersive right out of the box.”
The Standard Edition will retail for $100 and the Premium Edition will retail for $200 when they hit the streets in February 2027.
