DC Comics will release Catwoman: Lonely City: Absolute Edition, a new high-end collection of Cliff Chiang’s Black Label Catwoman series, in July 2027. The 2021-22 series was four prestige 48-page issues written, drawn, and with covers by Chiang (see “Cliff Chiang to DC“). The 488-page 8-1/8″ x 12” Absolute Edition adds exclusive behind-the-scenes extras, a collectible clamshell case, souvenir keychain, and postcards with exclusive art.
In the story, set 10 years after the death of Batman, Gotham City is run by the harsh regime of Mayor Harvey Dent and the Batcops, and Selina Kyle, recently released from prison, heads to break into the Batcave in search of an old secret with a crew of former rogues.
Catwoman: Lonely City: Absolute Edition will be released July 20, 2027 at $100 MSRP.
