Wizards of the Coast announced that the release of Magic: The Gathering – Star Trek Commander Decks will be delayed in North American markets.
After announcing the cancellation of the Star Trek Beginner Box in September 2026 (see “Wizards of the Coast Cancels“), WotC has just released another round of disappointing new revolving around the much anticipated Universes Beyond set (see “‘Magic: The Gathering – Star Trek’“). Star Trek Commander Decks will be delayed in NA markets due to production and shipping issues. These decks may now arrive after the November 13, 2026 tabletop release date.
These delays are, of course, part of a chain of delays on various products stretching back to the shortage of The Hobbit Play Boosters for prereleases (see “‘The Hobbit’ Prerelease Shortages“).
