Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket will introduce a new series at the end of October, bringing dual-type Pokémon, new collecting rewards and major changes to battles, trading and booster pack schedules. Packs will move from roughly four-week releases to cycles of about six weeks, with expanded events and missions planned to fill the longer gaps. Players will be able to earn immersive cards by completing collections, open the new Special Pack: First Partners using stamina that recovers weekly, and collect three themed one-star promo cards through weekly missions over three weeks. A new Community Decks feature will let players browse popular or friends’ decks and copy them using their own cards. Rental decks will be available as soon as new packs launch, have unlimited uses and become usable in versus battles, while limited-battle events will introduce restricted card rules and offer accessories and promo packs based on wins. Planned trading and sharing improvements include ways to check which cards trading partners lack and identify cards on a share partner’s wishlist. The team said the features are in development and their contents and timing may change.
