Pokémon GO will celebrate Halloween with Chandelure Super Mega Raid Day on Oct. 31, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time, introducing Mega Chandelure to the game through Super Mega Raids for the first time. Shiny Chandelure will also have an increased encounter rate during the event, and Trainers can raise Mega Chandelure to the new Super Max Mega Level, unlocking the Charged Attack Ominous Wind+, which deals 50 power in Trainer Battles with a chance to increase the user’s Attack and Defense by one stage and 145 power in gyms and raids. Reaching Super Max requires advancing through the Max Mega Level and using additional Mega Energy. A Global Challenge running from Oct. 30 at 5 p.m. PDT to Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. PDT will reward worldwide raid participation with bonuses for Mega Chandelure from Nov. 2 at noon to Nov. 15 at noon local Pacific time, including increased Ominous Wind+ power and boosted CP for Mega Chandelure at Super Max Level, depending on the number of challenge tiers completed. Event bonuses include a remote raid limit of 20, up to six free Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs and Mega Level 1 unlocked for Chandelure caught in Super Mega Raids. Free Timed Research will offer a Premium Battle Pass and a Tyranitar encounter. Trainers can also purchase a $4.99 event ticket for up to 14 Raid Passes from Gym Photo Discs, an increased chance of receiving Rare Candy XL and an additional 5,000 XP and 5,000 Stardust from Super Mega Raid Battles. The ticket will be available in the in-game shop until 5 p.m. local time on Oct. 31, while a Pokémon GO Web Store Ultra Ticket Box will include the event ticket and a bonus Premium Battle Pass for $4.99.
