Marvel Comics announced two new graphic novel lines, Marvel Renown and Marvel Brick, at the Retailer Day that kicked off New York Comic Con. Marvel Renown titles will collect classic stories that are not currently available in other lines such as Marvel Masterpiece or Epic Collections. The books will be published in various formats; the first three arePunisher: Suicide Run, by Steven Grant, Chuck Dixon, Hugh Haynes, and Gary Kwapisz, which will go on sale on February 16, 2027, with an MSRP of $29.99; Daredevil: The Devil in Cell-Block D, by Ed Brubaker, Michael Lank, and David Aja, out on February 23 with an MSRP of $17.99; and All-New Hawkeye, by Jeff Lemire and Ramon Perez, which will go on sale on March 9 with an MSRP of $19.99. All three are paperbacks, but the format of this line will vary from book to book.
Marvel Brick is a compendium format that will launch in the second half of 2027. The slide at the retailer presentation displayed four titles: Uncanny X-Men: All New, Superior Spider-Man, Uncanny X-Force, and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.
Marvel has also begun publishing own compact editions (see “Marvel Plans Wave of Compact Editions“), and more of those are on the way, including Ultimates: Year Two collections to follow the already announced Ultimates: Year One titles.
