The Pokemon Company International updated details on the release of Mega Evolution – Delta Reign, which will be available everywhere on November 6, 2026.
The dust from the 30th Celebration frenzy has barely settled, and The Pokemon Company is moving right on to the next set (see “Expansion Announced“). They announced that starting October 24, 2026 they will be selling Mega Evolution – Delta Reign Build & Battle Boxes for Trainers to have battles with at prerelease events. In these prerelease events, which will be held a select Play! Pokemon Stores, players will battle it out with 40-card decks (Prize cards set aside at the beginning of play). Each Build & Battle Box comes with one of four foil promos: Masquerain, Magmortar, Enamorus, or Kormmo-o.
The Pokemon Center also opened up preorders for Delta Reign Booster Displays, ETBs and Booster Bundles. However, the initial preorder wave of product sold out as fast as it was opened up. The demand for Pokemon TCG cards hasn’t seemed to slow down, in contrast to the comments logged about 30th Celebration on Discord (see “Schadenfreude Washes Over Some Fans“).
