Renegade Game Studios will conclude their publishing partnership with White Wolf at the end of 2026, the company announced.
Renegade became the publishing partner for the World of Darkness books in 2020 via an agreement with Paradox Interactive (see “Publishing Partner for ‘World of Darkness’“). In 2025, Paradox revived the White Wolf studio and brought RPG development in house (see “Revives White Wolf“). Jess Lanzillo became the new Creative Director for White Wolf in July 2026, and she announced a new edition of Vampire: The Masquerade at Gen Con (see “New Edition of ‘Vampire: The Masquerade’ is in the Works“). In 2027, White Wolf will bring publishing in house as well.
Renegade will continue to support the World of Darkness IP through the end of 2026, and has pledged to work with White Wolf on making their transition back to in-house publishing as smooth as possible. All of the Renegade-developed World of Darkness titles planned for 2026 will still be released as scheduled.
