The featured Dragonite has the Normal Tera Type and can be caught once per save data, meaning players who captured it during a previous event cannot catch another, though they can continue battling it for rewards. Trainers can team up with up to three others to defeat the powerful Tera Pokémon, while players without access to black Tera Raid crystals can join through multiplayer after downloading the latest Poké Portal News. The event is available in the Paldea region and requires an internet connection for online features, with Nintendo Switch Online membership required for online multiplayer.
