Pokémon GO City Safari: Brisbane will take place Sept. 26 and 27, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time, turning Brisbane into an exploration event with seven themed zones, special PokéStops and Gyms and activities across the city. The event zones include Brisbane City Centre, Roma Street Parkland, Queensland Cultural Centre, South Bank, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane River Walk and New Farm Park, while the City Safari Hub at Queen Street Mall will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day with Pikachu sun visors, free City Safari sticker packs while supplies last, a Photo Wall and access to the Brisbane City Centre zone. Ticketed Trainers can participate in a GO Stamp Rally featuring up to eight stamps, with each stamp earning an encounter with explorer-hat Eevee and a chance of encountering its Shiny form, while event bonuses include up to five Special Trades on the ticketed day and a 50% Stardust discount on trades throughout the host city. A community photo is scheduled for King George Square at noon on Sept. 27, with Queen Street Mall serving as the backup location and Sept. 26 backup date in case of bad weather, while a Trade Hour will take place at King George Square at 4 p.m. on Sept. 27. The Pokémon Regional Championships will also be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from Sept. 25-27, featuring competitions for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon video games and Pokémon GO. Trainers can participate in City Safari from anywhere in Brisbane, but exclusive gameplay requires a valid ticket and being physically present in the city during the ticketed event hours.
