Games Workshop announced Codex: Space Marines, a new rulebook for Warhammer 40,000, which will hit preorder soon.
The codex contains 232-pages worth of background and unit information for the Space Marines. This book features details on 15 different detachments of Space Marines: Gladius Task Force, Assault Brethren, Tactical Brethren, Devastator Brethren, Terminator Storm Force, Tacticus Attack Force, Tacticus Firestorm Force, Phobos Shadow Force, Phobos Shock Force, Gravis Linebreaker Force, Gravis Siege Force, Stormlance Task Force, Ironclad Champions, and Gauntlet Task Force. It also has hobby guides to help players build their armies.
This codex comes in three different versions: a softcover, a special edition hardcover, and a limited edition. The limited edition comes with six art prints, a complete Space Marines Command Pack, tokens, reference cards, and metal emblems for the cover of the book.
Games Workshop also recently unveiled Exodite, a new Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team boxed set (see “‘Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team’“).
