Pokémon Sleep now allows iOS players to pair Fitbit devices and use tracked sleep data for sleep research, expanding a feature that was previously limited to Android users. The update went live Aug. 26, 2026, at 10 p.m. and lets players register eligible sleep data recorded through Fitbit after linking Pokémon Sleep with Apple Health. Manually edited smartwatch sleep data may not qualify and sleep sessions recorded before Apple Health or Health Connect was linked to Pokémon Sleep cannot be registered. Players who already use Pokémon GO Plus + can also pair a smartwatch without losing the existing device connection, while those experiencing issues are advised to restart the app.
