Nintendo of America has referenced Pokémon Gold and Silver through a new Pokémon Pokopia post on social media, using the line “Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other is gold.” The Aug. 19 post also directs fans to recreate memorable moments in Pokémon Pokopia, specifically highlighting the connection to the classic Johto-era Pokémon Gold and Silver games. Nintendo has not announced any additional Gold or Silver project alongside the post.
