Wizards of the Coast announced Magic Presents: To Boldly Go, a new event type for Magic: The Gathering – Star Trek.
This event type can be scheduled an unlimited number of times from November 13, 2026 to January 28, 2027. It is a Star Trek-themed sealed deck league, where players build their decks out of six Star Trek Play Boosters, and play out matches at Starfleet Academy and across the galaxy. Stores may choose to add additional boosters to the sealed pool over the course of the season. Players will gain ranks as they play more matches; when they reach the rank of Captain, they receive a Solemn Simulacrum promo card.
