Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

Absolute Green Arrow #4 (DC Comics) – The series is absolutely amazing with Green Arrow being more a killer hidden in the shadows with Dinah Lance really in the spotlight trying to figure out what’s going on. Great art and gripping storytelling with a relevant underlying base to it all and this is a top notch series.

Avengers Armageddon #3 (Marvel) – The series is shaking up the Avengers, and maybe all of Earth’s superheroes and we want to see what happens before whatever comes next.

G.I. Joe #25 (Skybound/Image Comics) – It’s G.I. JOE team versus G.I. JOE team.

If Destruction Be Our Lot #4 (Image Comics) – It’s really weird sci-fi in a world run by robots and the discovery of a human being.

Killer Influences #2 (IDW Publishing/IDW Dark) – The first issue teased a series that at first is a nice spin on the true crime podcast concept, but it also feels like there’s some biting commentary about it all and gaining fame from the suffering of others.

The Last Driver #1 (Image Comics) – A post-apocalyptic driving series by Sean Gordon Murphy, it’s absolutely on the list to check out the first issue.

Lazarus Order #1 (Mad Cave Studios) – In a medieval world where illness can lead to horrific and monstrous transformation, the Lazarus Order is mankind’s final bastion, preventing uncontrollable chaos. Sounds interesting to us.

Queen In Black #3 (Marvel) – The event series has been fun in that turn off your brain summer popcorn sort of way.

Shellshock #1 (Oni Press/EC Comics) – EC Comics does war comics…

Star Trek: The Last Starship #10 (IDW Publishing) – The series has been amazing with an unpredictable direction as the Federation attempts to find relevancy and deliver hope after a major disaster.

Talespin #1 (Dynamite Entertainment) – The classic Disney series comes to comics!
