Games Workshop announced three Middle-Earth: Battlehost sets, for Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game, which will head to preorder soon.
The Rohan Battlehost set revolves around a group of stalwart Rohan Warriors. King Theoden rides against the forces of darkness atop a noble steed. Alongside the king, 6 Riders of Rohan ride into battle with 24 Warriors of Rohan on foot for support.
The Mirkwood Battlehost set features Elven forces. They are led by Legolas, captain of the King’s Guard. He has 20 Palace Guards and 20 Mirkwood Rangers following him into battle.
Dol Guldur Battlehost set offers players an army of Orcs to command. These Orcs are led into battle by a Spawn of Azog on a Fell Warg. The force also contains 6 more Fell Wargs ridden by Hunter Orcs and 24 Hunter Orcs on foot.
Games Workshop will also release two new Warhammer: Old World boxed sets into retail (see ” Two New ‘Warhammer: Old World’ Boxed Sets“).
