Pokémon Pokopia‘s first Expansion Pass DLC content drop, Bubbly Basin, is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, introducing a new underwater town with additional Pokémon, adventures, furniture, outfits and activities. Players can explore the area, sample Bubbly Basin’s watermelons, visit a new Dream Island featuring the Starmie doll, make smoothies and use new buoyant blocks to construct buildings at different underwater levels, while a mysterious hole in the sea floor offers another discovery. Accessing Bubbly Basin requires the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass and the free Version 2.0.0 update, along with learning the new Dive move, completing the “Raise the environment level!” request in Bleak Beach and finding Popplio there. The Expansion Pass also includes a Ditto print blocks and wallpaper recipe, plus a code for 30 rare Pokémetal ingots sent by email, with the code redeemable through Aug. 31, 2027 and the reward claimable through Sept. 30, 2027. The Expansion Pass costs $34.99, while Parts 2 and 3 will be revealed at a later date.
