Wizards of the Coast revealed product line information for Dungeons & Dragons: World of Warcraft, a new Gameplay Expansion, which will release on November 17, 2026.
The first D&D Universes Beyond release (see “‘Dungeons & Dragons’ Goes ‘Universes Beyond’“) features a robust offering of products. The core book of the release, D&D: World of Warcraft Gameplay Expansion, adds six new subclasses to games of D&D. These subclasses include Oath of the Ebon Blade (Paladin), Oath of the Holy (Paladin), Demon Hunter (Ranger), Shadow Domain (Cleric), Discipline Domain (Cleric), and Path of the Elements (Barbarian). It also contains three updated subclasses and 13 WoW class skins. The Gameplay Expansion also has 11 new species, over 60 new Spells, over 25 new magic items, over 50 new monsters and more.
This book will be available in a standard cover, an alternate cover, and a Collector’s Edition version.
Alongside the core Gameplay Expansion book, there will be a new DM Screen and an Icecrown Citadel Adventure Map Pack. The DM’s Screen showcases a player-facing side with WoW artwork, and a DM-facing side with quick reference rules for playing games in Azeroth. The Icecrown Citadel Adventure Map Pack comes with five double-sided posters that cover 10 of the Icecrown Citadel’s encounters, a code for D&D Beyond access to a 74-page digital adventure, token sheets, and more.
There will also be two miniatures packs available with this release. The Miniatures Horde Pack comes with the following miniatures: Illidan Stormrage, a Blood Elf, a Troll, a Tauren, a Forsaken, an Orc, and a Goblin. The Miniatures Alliance Pack contains the following miniatures: a Lich Kind, a Worgen, a Draenei, a Human, a Gnome, a Dwarf, and a Night Elf.
