Marvel Comics continues to expand its line of Premier Collections, their own take on the compact comics format, with three new titles slated for Spring 2027.
Premier Collections are 6″ x 9″ paperbacks containing a self-contained story arc, all priced at $14.99.
Iron Man: Extremis includes both the original 2005-2006 storyline by Warren Ellis and Adi Granov, which strongly influenced the subsequent Iron Man movies, and the 2012 sequel by Kieron Gillen and Greg Land (see “Gillen and Land on ‘Iron Man’”). This volume collecting Iron Man (2004) #1-6 and Iron Man (2012) #1-5 will be released on January 17, 2027.
Spider-Man: Kraven’s Last Hunt, by writer J.M. DeMatteis and artists Mike Zeck and Shawn McManus, collects the 1987 storyline of Kraven the Hunter’s quest to make Spider-Man his final quarry. The book also includes the sequel and the story of Kraven’s first hunt, collecting Web of Spider-Man (1985) #31-32; Amazing Spider-Man (1963) #293-294; Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man (1976) #131-132; Amazing Spider-Man: Soul of the Hunter (1992) #1; and the A story from Sensational Spider-Man Annual ’96. Release date will be February 9, 2027.
Thor: Gorr the God Butcher, by writer Jason Aaron and artists Esad Ribić and Butch Guice, brings together Thors from the distant past, the present, and the far future to track down the murderer of the gods. The book collects Thor: God of Thunder (2013) #1-11; release date is March 9, 2027.
The Premier Edition of The Death of Captain America will be released in November 2026 (see “Premier Edition of Key Storyline Out of ‘Civil War’”), and X-Men: Yesterday’s X-Men is due out on October 6. 2026.
