No Loading Games is bringing the manga-style football (soccer) action of Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura’s Blue Lock series to the tabletop with the launch of Blue Lock Striker, releasing in October 2026.
Blue Lock tells the story of up-and-coming star Yoichi Isagi as he seeks to earn a place on the Japan national team and has been in production since 2018, spinning off an anime series in 2022 and a live-action film releasing this summer.
In the game Blue Lock Striker, the players compete to score goals by outsmarting their rivals and using their character’s unique special abilities. Gameplay features real-time card play combined with dice. The game can be played competitively or cooperatively by two players or two teams of two or as a free-for-all with three or four players.
Blue Lock Striker includes 12 dice, 68 cards, four player screens, one game board, and 11 tokens. Intended for two to four players, ages eight and up, it plays in about 15 minutes.
In September, No Loading will release its Pac-Man: Craze Maze card game (see “Chomp Dots, Fruit, and Ghosts in ‘Pac-Man: Craze Maze’”).
