Chaosium announced Call of Cthulhu: Old Ones Origins, a new board game based on the Cthulhu Mythos.
In this new board game, the cosmic horror of the Old Ones will emerge, and rival factions will wage a war for dominance over humanity. The game was designed by Samuel W. Bailey, one of the co-designers of the Warhammer 40,000 board game Forbidden Stars (see “‘Warhammer 40K’ Board Game“). It will feature deep strategy and asymmetric gameplay.
The game is for two to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 120 to 140 minutes. More details on this game will arrive at Gen Con 2026.
