New Fantasy Wargame from Freecompany d.o.o.
Freecompany d.o.o. has placed Eldfall Chronicles: Northern Wind Core Box, a new fantasy wargame, onto preorder with an expected launch date of August 30, 2026.
This tactical skirmish scale miniatures wargame has been around in European markets for a few years now, but now it is coming to U.S. markets via Universal Distribution (and to Canada via Asmodee Canada). The game has a rich lore, which revolves around the fantasy world of Calad. The world has four main great factions for players to muster forces for: Empire of Soga, the Coalition, the Sand Kingoms, and the Helian League.
Northern Wind Core Box is an entry level core box that features a narrative-driven dungeon crawler. The boxed set offer a fully-cooperative tabletop experience with evolving quests, tactical combat, and branching storylines that have 33 unique endings. The core box comes with 15 miniatures (including a LE Chiyohime miniature), cards, scenery pieces, standees, over 200 tokens, a rulebook, a Northern Wind Quest Log, and more. It will retail for $241.00.
