GAMA: The Tabletop Game Association announced that nominations for the 2027 Power Retail Awards are now open.
The 2027 nominations are open to any retail business relevant to GAMA, including games stores, cafes, and others, and encourages the general public to submit nominations. The Retail Voting Membership Division PRA committee will review the nominations and decide the award winners. This year, the categories are as follows:
- Outstanding Store Design. This award given away to the most physically welcoming, well-designed store. Stores in this category are also judged upon the design of their web sites and social media.
- Outstanding Contribution to Games Industry (Retail). The award can be given to a store or a professional who has done something outstanding to help retail/cafe businesses.
- Innovation in Games (Retail). The award is handed out for creating something new or reinvented that allows games retail businesses run more efficiently or create new events.
- Retailer of the Year. The Retailer of the Year is given to the most well-rounded business nominated in one the Power Retail categories.
Winners in each category get a free one year GAMA membership.
