There have been a few comings and goings in the games industry. Time for a People on the Move Round-Up!

Renegade Game Studios has hired Dhaunae De Vir to be the new Director of Roleplaying Game Brand. De Vir is the founder of Biblioteca Obscura, the company that published Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary in the Spanish language, and worked as a business/partnership developer for White Wolf/Paradox Interactive for almost 9 years. Scott Gaeta, President and Publisher at Renegade Game Studios, had the following to say about De Vir’s hire:

“Dhaunae has spent her career building real, lasting communities and partnerships. Our RPG business has rapidly expanded, and Dhaunae is exactly the kind of leader we need to help steward that growth while strengthening the relationships that make these games thrive.”

GAMA: The Tabletop Game Association introduced Kevin Ronnebaum as their new Director of Marketing and Communications. Ronnebaum is a newcomer to the games industry, but he has over 25 years of experience in marketing, creative management, concept development, and brand design. He had previously worked as a Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland, the same non-profit organization for which recently-appointed GAMA COO Melinda Prickett was COO (see “GAMA Hires First COO“).

Firoz Rana has joined Freecompany d.o.o., makers of Eldfall Chronicles miniatures game, as the company’s new Sales Director. Rana is a veteran in the miniatures space and held the position of Global Account Sales Manager at Steamforged Games since 2017.
