Paverson Games Reveals 'Ringyo'

Paverson Games revealed Ringyo, a worker placement game, which will head to Kickstarter on July 7, 2026.

In this game, designed by Charlie McCarron with art by Kwanchai Moriya, players assume the roles daimyos during Japan’s Edo period. They will be tasked with building up their own province from the ground up; each province starts as an untouched forest. Their workers will harvest trees, plant new ones for the future, create an agricultural presences, construct fortresses, and muster forces for the Shogun. Players accumulate favor for their efforts, and the player with most favor becomes the Shogun’s most-trusted lord.

The game is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 45 to 90 minutes.

Paverson Games also released Luthier: The Art of the Instrument into retail (see “‘Luthier: The Art of the Instrument’“).
