Games Workshop announced four Warhammer 40,000: Battleforces miniatures boxed sets, which will hit preorder on June 27, 2026.
Battleforce: Tyranid Swarm contains a variety of Tyranid bioforms. The force is led by a monstrous Hive Tyrant, who has a Lictor, 3 Tyranid Warriors, 3 Von Ryan’s Leapers, 10 Hormagaunts, 10 Termagants, and 2 Ripper Swarms in tow.
Battleforce: Chaos Space Marines features an array of cultists, heretics and demon-inspired miniatures. The force is commanded by a heavily-armed Lord Discordant mounted on a Helstalker. The box also comes with 10 Legionaries, 20 Chaos Cultists, a Venomcrawler, and 2 Obliterators.
Battleforce: Necron Host comes with a legion of horrific Nercon foot soldiers. The three Necrons on a Catacomb Command Barge lead this army into battle. The force contains 20 Necron Warriors, 5 Flayed Ones, 3 Ophydian Destroyers with their accompanying Plasmacyte, a Canoptek Doomstalker, and 6 Scarab Swarms.
Battleforce: Astra Militarum Platoon offers players a force that is armed with tanks and artillery units. The platoon has a split command: a Commissar and a Cadian Command Squad. These units are flanked by 10 Cadian Shock Troops, a Basilisk, a Field Ordnance Battery, and Rogal Dorn tank.
Games Workshop also announced two new rulebooks for Warhammer 40,000 11E, which will be on preorder soon (see “Two New ‘Warhammer 40,000’ Rulebooks Incoming“).
