Dynamite Entertainment will launch a new series based on the Firefly TV series, written by Mark Russell with art by Lorenzo Re, in September. The storyline kicks of with Mal Reynolds looking for cash to keep Serenity flying, as Simon and Kaylee pretend to be a married couple as a ruse for a heist.
The issue will feature a limited Premium Mystery Blind Bag with three limited editions of the issue selected from the variant covers for the issue. The A cover is by Robert Quinn, with variants by Meghan Hetrick, Declan Shalvey, Paris Alleyne, Stephen Byrne, and Daniel Warren Johnson (Icon).
Firefly #1 will launch on September 2 at $4.99 MSRP.
