For a Tokens and Playmats Collection; Retail Pricing Available at End of Campaign
Richard Kane Ferguson has launched the Treasure of Xellen Rah Collection Kickstarter campaign.
Richard Kane Ferguson (aka “RKF”) is one of the most prolific Magic: The Gathering artists from the early days of the game. His sharp, expressionistic style of fantasy art is incredibly unique, and has been also been featured, beyond Magic, in White Wolf games as well as interior art for Marvel Comics. In recent years, he has regularly been attending MagicCons, and setting a booth in their Artist Alley (see “MagicCon Chicago 2025“).
The Treasures of Xellan Rah campaign offers up fantasy tokens and playmats based on his 200-page graphic novel, The Lost Book of Kings. These tokens showcase never before seen art designs for Angels, Beasts, Demons, Dragons, and more. The array of limited edition playmats offered have extended art versions classic Magic pieces, such as Price of Progress and Arcane Denial.
This Kickstarter does offer a way for retailers to order these accessories. In lieu of a retailer pledge tier, the campaign includes form to fill out, which allows access to wholesale pricing at the end of the campaign.
