Mad Cave Studios and Tatsunoko Production will release Speed Racer Vol. 1 Deluxe Edition, a deluxe hardcover edition of Speed Racer Vol. 1 with additional material. The Deluxe Edition will collect issues #1-#5 of the regular series (see “’Speed Racer’ #1 Covers“) along with the #0 story material from the Mad Cave Free Comic Book Day 2025 release (see “Preview: FCBD 2025 – ‘Speed Racer’ #0“), comprising the first story arc in the reimagining of the property. The arc is written by David Pepose with art by Davide Tinto and colors by Alessio Zonno.
In addition to the story material, the 152-page Deluxe Edition will include a full cover gallery and behind-the-scenes material.
Speed Racer Vol. 1 Deluxe Edition will be released August 12, 2026 at $29.99 MSRP.
