DC has announced the crossover storyline Kingdom of Zod, which will run through Supergirl #16 and 17, Action Comics #1101 and 1102, Superman Unlimited #16 and 17, and Superman #41 and 42, releasing in August and September 2026. The story, written by Joshua Williamson, Sophie Campbell, Mark Waid, and Dan Slott, with art by Eddy Barrows, Joe Quinones, Montos, and Rachael Stott, kicks off with Supergirl heading bringing together Superboy-Prime, Conner Kent, Tomorrow Man, Steel, and other characters to form a strike force to infiltrate a Kryptonite kingdom where a coup has occurred. This develops into a full-scale battle against General Dru-Zod and other antatonists that draws in the full Superman family. The August issues will have connecting main covers by Guillem March and variants by Noobovich, Stephanie Hans, Joe Quinones, Ariel Olivetti, Mike Choi, ACO, Taurin Clarke, Vincenzo Riccardi, and Christian Ward, as well as foil variants by Mark Spears. The first issue, Supergirl #16, will be released on August 12.
DC will release the trades of its DC K.O. crossover event in August (see “DC to Collect ‘DC K.O.’ Event in Five Trades”).
