Goldin Auctions Celebrates 'Star Wars' Day with Vintage Auction

Over 1,000 Kenner Toys on the Block, Including Multiple Rocket-Firing Boba Fett Figures

Goldin Auctions has placed over 1,000 Kenner vintage toys on the auction block to celebrate Star Wars Day.

The auction officially launched on May 1, 2026, and is headlined by a Kenner 1979 J-Slot Rocket-Firing Boba Fett prototype; a similar figure had previously sold for $1.342 million at auction.  This extremely rare figure is also joined by a second Rocket-Firing Boba Fett prototype and an unpainted L-Slot Boba Fett prototype (see “‘Star Wars’ Rocket-Firing Boba Fett Prototype“).  The auction showcases other gems amongst the over 1,000 figures: 1977 Darth Vader First Shot action figure, 1978 Early Bird Mailer Kit with telescoping saber figures, and carded examples of all main characters such as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Darth Vader.

The auction also features 25 trading cards and complete sets, a 1977 Topps Star Wars uncut sheet collection featuring multiple full series, Chrome-era SuperFractors, and multi-signed booklet cards from newer Star Wars releases.  There is also various comic books on the block, including a full run of Marvel’s Star Wars series (1977 to 1986).
