Anime NYC has added Anime NYC x X Tracks Licensing Summit as a B2B day kicking off this year’s New York show on August 20, billing it as “the first executive forum dedicated to the business of anime, manga, gaming, and Asian pop culture.”
The event is a collaboration of Anime NYC organizer LeftField Media, which has been running the anime-focused consumer show at the Javits Center since 2017 (see “LeftField Media News“) and X Tracks Licensing Summits, founded by License! Magazine co-founder Steven Ekstract in 2022.
The event targets publishers, licensors, manufacturers, retailers, consumer product companies, and licensing executives in the field, which has been rapidly growing, driven by the widespread availability of anime on streaming platforms.
