BOOM! Studios will release Power Rangers Unlimited #1, the first issue in a new 12-issue series, in July. The new series brings together 30 years of rangers from every season of the TV series and every comic series into a single epic story. Written by Joey Esposito and Kenny Porter with art by Alessio Zonno, the new storyline has Power Rangers called from across time and space to deal with a rift in time and space at a mysterious base on the planet Aquitar, where a morphinomenal program is building up under the Operator, the Striking Tiger Unlimited Ranger.
Random House Worlds VP Business Development & Special Projects Bryce Carlson laid out the concept. “Power Rangers Unlimited takes 30+ years of Power Rangers toys and dumps them all out on the table,” he said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “There’s something for every Power Rangers fan, old and new, in this series.”
Covers include the main cover (A) by Alessio Zonno, Every Ranger Ever Connecting Cardstock Variant, Foil Variant, and Unlimited covers by Zonno, variant by and Foil Incentive cover by Cully Hamner, other Incentive covers by Federico Sabbatini, Ito, Simona Di Gianfelice, and TBA.
The 24-page first issue will be offered in $4.99, $5.99 cardstock, and $6.99 foil versions.
