Ravensburger will release Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons – Ravenloft, a new board game, on July 19, 2026.
In this game, players will play as one of five new Heroes from the Ravenloft setting. They will be tasked with defeating the Vampire Dark Lord Strahd Von Zarovich, the murderous living doll Carrionette, the witch Baba Lysaga and the sentient, supernatural Gulthias Tree. The gameplay for this game will be similar to the previous Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons game (see “‘Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons’ (Board Game)“), including the usage of a D20 as part of the board game mechanics.
“After the overwhelmingly positive reception of the first Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons game last year, the question wasn’t if we wanted to step back into the world of D&D, but rather, where we wanted to go and what monsters we might want to go up against on our journey,” said Florian Baldenhofer, Head of Games for Ravensburger. “Ravenloft quickly emerged as the frontrunner thanks to its deep ties to the horror genre, eerie atmosphere and haunted residents.”
This is a cooperative board game for one to five players, ages 10 and up, and will retail for $34.99. Upon release, this game will be available for purchase on Target and Ravensburger’s websites.
