DC Comics will release Power Girl: New Beginnings and Old Friends Omnibus, collecting the complete series by Justin Gray, Jimmy Palmiotti, and Amanda Conner and related issues, with new essays and sketches by Palmiotti, Conner, and Judd Winick. The Palmiotti-Conner series launched strong back in 2009, coming in at #25 for the first issue (see “’Down Month’”).
The new volume follows Kara Zor-L (Karen Starr) as she moves to New York and reinvents herself. Collecting Power Girl’s adventures from the pages of JSA: Classified #1-4, Supergirl #12, Terra #1-4, Power Girl #1-27, and Wonder Woman #600. Talent on those issues include Justin Gray, Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Conner, Judd Winick, Geoff Johns, Sami Basri, Hendry Prasetya, and Matthew Sturges.
The cover of the new volume is by Amanda Conner and Paul Mounts.
The 880-page hardcover will be released on August 4, 2026 at $125 MSRP.
