Heritage Auctions will place an entire run of Marvel Comics’ Star Wars (1977) onto the block at their Star Wars Day event on May 4, 2026.

The run of Star Wars comics (1977 to 1996) that is up for bidding encompasses issues #1 to #107 (see “‘Star Wars’ Collectible Comics” and also, “Five Hidden Gems“).  This lot also comes with the three annual issues, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi #1-#4, and Marvel Movie Showcase #1-#2.  All of the issues are graded CGC 9.8, making this the ultimate package for a Star Wars comic book collector.  In addition to this lot, there will be two Star Wars #1 signature lots up for grabs: one of the books signed by Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford and the other book signed by David Prowse, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford (on different dates).

For original comics artwork collectors, the auction will have a story page 7 interior art piece from Star Wars #1 (1977), done by Howard Chaykin, on the block.  The original artwork for the cover to Dark Horse Comics’ Droids #1 will also be available to bid on.
