Z-Man Games revealed Citadels Duel, a new head-to-head version of the strategy deduction game, which hits retail on October 23, 2026.
In this new version of Citadels (see “‘Citadels’“), designed by Guillaume Montiage and Manuel Rozoy, players will vie for control of the city in a one-on-one contest. To gain control of the city, players will need to sway the council, build new districts, and utilize unique character powers. The unique character abilities can trigger powerful combinations that will help players further their mid-game strategy. Each decision made matters in this streamlined dueling game.
This game is for two players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. It will retail for $29.99.
