Wizards of the Coast added a new feature to the Magic: The GatheringCompanion app, which will be available in the week of February 16, 2026.
The new feature allows players to create player profiles that can be personalized and track event history. These profiles come with an inbox, which is private to the player. The inbox will receive communications about prereleases, Store Championships, Friday Night Magic, and more from WotC.
One of the more interesting aspects of the new player profile is that it allows players to select their favorite stores and bookmark them. These stores stay saved in a Favorite Stores section, and can be accessed at any time through the app. The app also links up with the store locator so a player can find various WPN stores in their area.
