Mantic Games will launch DreadBall: All-Stars, a new sci-fi sports board game, onto Kickstarter on March 17, 2026.
This new board game was designed by original Blood Bowl creator Jervis Johnson (see “‘Blood Bowl‘”) and Alessio Cavatore. In DreadBall: All-Stars, players assume the roles of coaches of all-star teams in sci-fi world mega-corporations sponsor violent sports entertainment. Players will have their team compete in full-contact arena matches where the stakes are high.
“I’ve always loved designing sports games, and with DreadBall: All-Stars, I’ve created a board game where the action is fast-paced and non-stop,” said Johnson of his new design. “If Blood Bowl is like American Football, then All-Stars is like a full-contact version of NBA Basketball, with lots of opportunities to score, and just as many opportunities to flatten the opposition!”
The game can be played as a two-player game or in Battle Royale mode that can support six players. It is for ages 12 and up and plays in 60 minutes.
