Steve Jackson Games has placed Munchkin 2E, a new edition of the satirical fantasy card game, onto BackerKit.
Munchkin has turned 25 years old, and SJG is celebrating by releasing a new edition. The second edition of Munchkin offers players the same gameplay feel and fan favorite jokes in a updated version of the game that plays faster with a more streamlined setup. It features updated artwork by John Kovalic as well as reference cards to replace the rulebook. There is also a new game mechanic, Gold Pieces, that allows players to receive change for selling items or bribing their friends.
This game is for three to six players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 60 minutes. It will retail for $40.00. The campaign offers a retailer pledge level where they can purchase six copies of the game for $120.
Steve Jackson Games also added retailer tier for Toon: The Cartoon Roleplay Game 2E on BackerKit (see “‘Toon: The Cartoon Roleplay Game 2E’“).
