Games Workshop has placed four Warhammer 40,000: Battleforce boxed sets onto preorder.
The first of the four sets headed to retail is Battleforce: Khorne Daemonkin. This army is led into battle by a Lord on Juggernaut unit that can also be built as Lord Invocatus. His World Eaters army consists of a Master of Executions, 6 mounted Bloodcrushers, 10 Khorne Berzerkers, and 20 Bloodletters. The set will also come with a World Eaters transfer sheet.
Battleforce: Sekhmet Coven consists of an elite Chaos Space Marines fighting unit aligned with the Sekhmet Coven. This box comes with an Infernal Master, 3 Exalted Sorcerers, a Mutalith Vortex Beast, and 10 Scarab Occult Terminators. The set also contains two Chaos Space Marines transfer sheets.
Battleforce: Vile Vectorium features Nurgle’s minions. The force is led by Lord Felthus, a Lord of Contagion, and comes with 3 Blightlord Terminators, 3 Deathshroud Terminators, 3 Foetid Bloat-drones, and 20 Poxwalkers.
Finally, Battleforce: Lords of Excess showcases a fighting force that provides a good start for players looking to build an Emperor’s Children army. In this army, a Daemon Prince has 20 Infractors and 12 Noise Marines under his command. The set also comes with four Emperor’s Children transfer sheets.
